This mini highbanker is our flagship product we feel will greatly benefit the gold prospector.  It is a highly portable fully functional highbanker or power sluice.  We developed this highbanker with the  intent to help the prospector who looks for gold in out of the way places,  not easily accessible to the average gold seeker or one who does not want to lug a lot of gear for a short trip to the river.   We believe this may be the most versatile unit on the market today.  Performance is excellent and portability is unmatched.  Don't let the name fool you.  When developing this unit we ran a side by side test with a 2 1/2" dredge for one hour, same hole same material.  This highbanker recovered 3 time as much fine gold as the dredge. With a dredge the water velocity as well as all the rocks and gravel  being processed are not conducive to fine gold recovery.  This high-banker has the ability to not only function as a sampling tool but also can be used as a production unit.  It has the ability to process more material than a regular sluice of comparable size, and does it more efficiently.  Since it is a known fact that the closer your base material is classified to the size of the gold you propose to recover, the better recovery will be.  With this in mind this unit comes with interchangeable screening grizzlys.  It has a 1/8" punch plate for fine gold as well as a 1/4" punch plate for courser gold.  There is absolutely no reason to clog the sluice area with gravel when you don't need to.  Doing so reduces your prospect of recovering your main goal which is GOLD.  The design features of the highbanker also make it very efficient clean-up device by processing regular concentrates and turning them into "super concentrates." with the removal of most of the lighter and unwanted waste .This unit is extremely simple to set up and operate.  It is designed to fit inside a RubberMaid 8 gallon storage container ,which is not included in our basic unit ,that also serves as a reticulating reservoir holding approximately 8 gals. of water.        Using the unit as a recirculating highbanker gives you the capability to mine in areas without a water source, i.e. desert environments.  This unit comes complete with its own pump,1100gph, which is very adequate for its intended purpose.  You do not have to be a master plumber to hook the water supply to the unit.  Slip the supplied hose onto the pump outlet and the other end onto the highbanker inlet and you are done.  Everything is included with the unit except the electrical power source.  This is accomplished with a 12volt battery in the field or even using a battery charger with a capable 12volt output.  I find that a small marine type deep cycle battery works best.  One that has at least 32 amp hr will last all day.  This unit has the ability to be fed with a   shovel or large trowel not a spoon as some on the market.  After a day of prospecting, all the components i.e. legs, pump, screens, hose and etc can be stored inside the unit which  can then be stored in the storage container accordion style, or just replace the removable lids or covers. This feature allows for compact storage as well as the ability to travel lightly and compactly.  It can be checked as a second piece of luggage when traveling by air.  All in all I doubt you will find a more versatile and compact unit anywhere.  When assembled it has the capacity to process more material than a regular sluice of equal size.  No prescreening is required.  Unlike some of the competitors units on the market this unit utilizes ALL the sluice area.  This is accomplished by an underchute below the grizzly area.  This chute gathers all the material and water slurry and reverses direction carrying it all back to the very top of the sluice, allowing a complete pass of all material across the expanded metal at the top and the riffle bars at the lower end.  Below both of these areas is the ribbed miners carpet.  This carpet does a fantastic job of catching the very fine gold.  The unit is constructed of alu. and stainless steel.  It is assembled using aviation impact rivets.  No pop rivets or welds to crack and break.  The unit measures approximately 14" x 12" x  8" when folded up, not counting the carrying handle.  Set up the sluice area measures approximately 28" long  by 10" wide. There are probably some cheaper units on the market, and as the saying goes you get what you pay for.  This units recovery area or the sluice section is almost twice as wide as the cheaper units so you can feed this one with a shovel if you want and not just a trowel.  While others claim theirs are portable you are still encumbered with the highbanker in one hand and the hose, pump and legs in the other .  Good luck with the battery.  Our unit can be collapsed into a self contained , easily carried parcel carried in one hand leaving the other free for the battery or whatever.  It can also be transported in a back pack or on a back pack frame or add a shoulder strap.  You don't have to worry about dropping loose pieces along the trail.  Nothing is going to fall out.  If excellent recovery and portability at a reasonable cost sound good to you then this is the unit for you.

We have taken your highbanker up into the bush twice now.The first time it worked incredibly well.We took in a
motorcycle battery 17 amp/h   We got around 4 hours out of it which worked out perfectly for our day trip.
It seemed to pick up all the fine gold very well.We tested the second time in with miners moss under the riffles but
your carpet seemed to grab all the gold before it got there  including the larger flakes. What a great unit
